TERTIARY INSTITUTION ATTENDED BY DANIEL MUSIC17

Daniel Music17 attended a University in Nigeria, particularly a University in the South Eastern region of Nigeria known as Imo State University, popularly known with the acronym IMSU. In this Institution Daniel Music17 Studied Political Science which was also known as Government and Public Administration in the Institution at a particular time. Daniel Muisic17 was a brilliant student who enjoyed reading and good education. Furthermore, Daniel Music17 joined church campus fellowships and also decided to join the choir after many years of indecision, because he didn’t want to join any choir before. It was during this period, particularly in his second year in school that Daniel Muisic17 joined a music crew known as True Worshipers and he was part of the crew before he graduated from school and went for youth service at the National Youth Service Corps in Katsina State in the Northern part of Nigeria because in Nigeria every graduate with the exception of few is mandated to serve the country for one year as a National Youth Service Corps member. In Katsina he was able to meet some good friends whom were also National Youth Service Corps members. It was while in Katsina that he wrote the song, “Life of God”. Even though the educational system of Nigeria was very unfair to the students, Daniel Muisic17 was able to graduate with a second class.

DANIEL MUSIC17’S JOURNEY BEFORE ACCEPTING MUSIC

Growing up as a child right from primary school or pre-school Daniel Muisic17 has always loved music. Even though he loved music he never wanted to do music. Daniel Muisic17’s grandfather was a choir master and a pianist but all through his grandfather’s life he never met him to teach him anything about music or even how to play the piano. Daniel Muisic17
featuring Usher at a barber’s shop where he went to cut his hair while still in primary school. As a kid he also got to listen to “Give thanks” and “I have given you” by Don Moen because his family always had Don Moen’s album playing in their home from time to time. Daniel Muisic17 later started singing more after finding out that he had an amazing voice. Some people said he sounded like Michael Jackson the late king of pop while others said the voice wasn’t his own and that he was making it up. In spite of all these talents, one could wonder why Daniel Muisic17 never wanted to do music. Well, Daniel Muisic17 never wanted to do music because of the bad influence brought into the music industry and the attitude of many extremely religious people in the church towards different genres of music and towards musicians. In the music industry it has become a norm for majority of music artists to be wrongly influenced by their sponsors to make songs not good for little children to listen to or watch the music video. Almost every song you hear on radio or watch the video on TV is about sex and having a one night stand with a stripper. Also, the extremely religious people in the church have fixed in their minds the perception that a piece of music that sounds in a particular way or in an entertaining way is unholy and unacceptable to God even when majority of them were not born with music talents. To these people any song that doesn’t have “God” or “Jesus” as the topic is not a good song. These extremely religious people including the pastors have formed the habit of demonizing musicians and making them look like second satan instead of helping musicians in the area of sponsorship to prevent bad influence in the music industry. These issues have made Daniel Muisic17 very indecisive about doing music even when he has what it takes to do so.
